Christian’s family emigrated from Mexico and his parents worked hard to support the family. Christian wants to be the first in his family to attend college and has assumed leadership roles in high school. Tragically, last August, Christian’s father was robbed and murdered and Christian has assumed more responsibilities for the family. His mother works two jobs now, and Christian is responsible for taking care of his little brother. Christian wants to go to college to better provide for his family and to make his parents proud. He will attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
