Christopher has grown up with huge responsibilities. He helped take care of his sister after she was in a debilitating car accident and became paralyzed. She passed away in 2003 and just four years later his father passed away after a heart attack. In spite of these challenges, Christopher studied hard, and became Student Body President of his high school. Christopher wants to set an example for his younger siblings and hopes to be the first in his family to go to college. He also wants to present a more positive image of Polynesians. Christopher will attend UCLA.
