Eia attends Holy Names High School on a scholarship from the Achieve Program. She participates in various activities, including the Eureka! Program at Girls Inc, and was presented with the Girl of the Year award last year. Eia loves to perform and was chosen to participate in the Destiny Arts Youth Performance Group. It's a long way from the life she saw growing up in Oakland, including witnessing a murder while she was in middle school which she describes as “hell on earth.” Now she lives with her grandmother, studies hard, and keeps focused on becoming the first in her family to go to college. She will attend Agnes Scott.
