Josué Hernandez
Josué is now a ward of the court, but before that he was living on his own. Kicked out of his house as a teenager, Josué left with all of his worldly possessions in a trash bag. Desperate, Josué never thought that a stranger would save his life. The security guard at Mills College accidentally met Josué and was so moved by his story that she brought him home to live with her. The hope she provided was all Josué needed to go back to school where he is now student body president at Castlemont. After graduation, Josué will attend UC Santa Barbara.
