Abandoned first by their father, and later by their mother, Nathan and his two sisters tried to live on their own for a time. Eventually, his older sister moved out, the younger sister went to live with her father, and Nathan moved in with a friend’s family. He now works at a restaurant to support himself financially. Besides being a dedicated student, Nathan plays water polo and soccer, displays his school spirit as rally commissioner, and dreams of becoming a doctor. Nathan will attend Arizona State University.
